My Poor Baby

My poor baby is sick and has been for days now.  It started out earlier this week as what seemed like a cold and then he became more and more congested.  Through the week he has been eating less and less to the point now where he really is only drinking juice.  Yesterday after I got home from work, he looked really pale, so I picked him up and was holding him with him laying on my chest when he all of a sudden threw up all over me.  It was a one time thing, so I really think it's because of the mucus in his stomach.  He doesn't seem to have a fever, but is very mopey and not doing much other than lay around.  I feel so bad and stressed of course with Christmas being this weekend.  I just want everyone healthy and happy as we are all greatly looking forward to it...

Bennett is sick now with what seems like the same thing. Kept me up for 2 hours last night and he NEVER wakes up at night. He's miserable! Hope our little guys are feeling better by next week!!!

Kelli that was us last year at Christmas. Liam caught a bug and was sick Christmas day and the few that followed. I am hoping that Colin gets it out of his system enough to enjoy your Christmas!!

Oh, poor little Colin!!! Those pics are heartbreaking. :-( Glad the barf was a one-time thing, but I can only say that we've been completely blindsided by this crazy cold for nearly 2 weeks now that involved more snot and mucus than I could even imagine the human body could hold. I hope he starts to feel better soon!!! (Sorry for the lovely descriptive words...)

if you haven't already check his throat- last year when my little ones were passing strep around they would throw up one time. Can't remember if they had a fever with it but they were old enough to tell me their throat hurt also- Hope he's better for the holidays-

Poor colin. Have you been to the doc yet? Rachel was like that at the same age and ended up having pneumonia. A little anti b and was good as new. It was the mopiness and lethargy that got me. Good luck and feel better colin. Love to you all this holiday season and thru the new year.

Not sure if you got my comment Kelly but Rachel was the same way when she was small. no real fever but VERY listless. I took her to the doc and it was pneumonia. It was fixed with some antibiotics. You know your child better than anyone...if he is not acting himself have him looked at to put your mind at ease. Love you all...Merry Christmas and feel better everyone!n karenann
