Well, Colin has his 1st ever bout of croup...He started with a cough the other day but by this morning it had progressed to that "barking seal" kind of noise. I wasn't even thinking about it when we checked in with the doctor this morning and then after she said it I remembered how people describe croup.
For the most part, he is ok...no fever or runny nose (knock on wood), so hopefully it stays that way (hope being the key word!).
He was still a trooper through his PT session though and a ham as always!

Oh no :( Feel better soon Colin.
Sam had the croup several times and the sound of that coughing is so pitiful.
Sending you get well wishes.
Hang in there Mom.
We all hate "croup" get better soon Colin
That picture is so stinkin cute, what a trooper! I'm sad to hear about the croup, I hope it will pass by really really quick for him!
I hope Colin is feeling better soon! Joel has had croup a lot and it is not fun!
I loved your previous post. There have been many times that Keith and I have commented on how we just don't "see" Down syndrome when we look at Joel we just "see" Joel. I wish others could see what we see!
:( Feel better soon Colin! That croup can get to be some nasty stuff.
Poor Colin! I noticed Tommy was coughing today when I picked him up so something might be going around, but then again, with the babies at school I feel like someone always has something! I'll be listening for the barking seal just in case, but he's quiet tonight so far! Hope you get to enjoy a great weather weekend and Colin stays in good spirits for you despite the croup!
Poor little sweetheart. It's hard to hear their "barking". I hope he feels better soon. That photo of him lying down and your blog header are precious! He's really changing... growing... maturing.
hope colin feels better soon :)
