This and That

I didn't have anything specific to write about today, so this post is just some different things from the week...

* Warning: Picture and Video Overload!! *

We were all very excited here because Duke won the national basketball championship! Colin didn't watch the game, but when we told him they won, he was so happy!

Colin is still working on the straw, but we have also been working on just drinking out of a cup because Colin is very motivated to do so! He needs some help, but definitely gets the concept!

I've talked before about how Colin has become such a cheese ball, but it is really starting to come out more and more (and I think a lot of it has to do with Daddy's sense of humor!). Colin and Daddy like to joke around together, so Colin has started making this face where it's almost as though he is holding his breath, but it's also because he knows he can get us to laugh. He thinks he is so funny! Don't mind my laughing in the background, but you will see Colin make the "face" a couple of times!

Colin really enjoys the water, which was great for swim lessons, but fun in the bath tub too. He loves to kick, which is why we still have to use the reclining tub because his little tushy slides all over the place and then we end up having to hold him. It's just easier to use the reclining tub so that Colin can kick all he wants.

We wish Miss Kathy (physical therapist) would come every day because Colin does so well with her! He is starting to hold hands and knees a little bit longer now instead of fighting it so much which is very exciting for us! Most of the time, in order to do this, Colin requires music or us to sing to him.

This has been fun for us because he is doing it more for us now too when Miss Kathy ISN'T around! Cheese Ball!!

Uncle Pat stayed with us on Friday night because he had a big practice test for the state police nearby. Colin had fun with his roomie!

Saturday, Colin came with me to work for a little bit since I only had to be there for a few hours. This is the golf cart I drive around to the different fields to check on all of the sports teams, but on Saturday, Colin wanted to try it out! He had fun driving around with Mommy and was making lots of fun noises as we drove.
We had another playdate with Logan! We love having Logan and his family nearby! We had a lot of fun as always! Uncle Brian and Aunt Maureen came to babysit on Saturday night so that Chris and I could have a date night! They had gotten us gift cards for our birthdays to allow us to do this so we were so excited! Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures, but they all had a great time together!

This morning we were putting some things away to get ready for our open house...so Colin was trying to help out!

Nana and Grandad came down today to hang out and spend time with us since Daddy was working. After the open house, we finally made it back here and they snuggled with Colin while I got some of the food ready for Colin's birthday party next weekend (yikes! I can't believe my baby is almost 1!!).
We found out this weekend that Colin's Aunt Beth wasn't feeling well and had to get checked out at the hospital. We hope you feel better soon Aunt Beth!

I LOVE the cheeseball video! He had me laughing out loud watching it! Babies are so amazing in that the littlest things they do, they can make you forget everything else you were thinking about! Good luck with your house sale - I did not enjoy that process at all when we went through it - hopefully someone bites soon for you though!
